Why now?

ree

Folks have asked us why we decided to take on a major renovation at this stage in our lives. We understand the curiosity. Our children are grown and leading their own lives now. While we both still work, we’re at that stage where we can travel, have time for our hobbies, or just relax!

So why would we want to take on the renovation of a tiny yellow 75-year-old house 2 blocks from the University of Montana?

The simple answer is this: we fell in love with the house. To be honest, KC fell in love with the house. He wanted to live close to downtown and within walking distance to parks and restaurants. It took me a while to come around but finally I agreed as long as we could renovate the home with enough room for our children (and hopefully future grandkids?!) to come home to.

Thankfully, we have a little bit of experience in renovations. We have renovated homes in the past. However, this will be our largest renovation to date.

We love watching old homes get fixed up in our community so we thought others might be interested in ours. That’s when we decided to share our renovation with you. We will introduce you to the team doing the renovation, give you an inside peek into the demolition process and watch as we pick out all the finishes.

So, here we go renovating a home in the Hart of the U. #homeremodel #Missoularealestate #fixerupper
